Data Deletion Policy

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Meta Platform Terms, SYNCRO provides clear mechanisms for users to delete their data.

How to Delete Your Account & Data

You can completely delete your SYNCRO account and all associated data automatically through our platform.

  1. Log in to your SYNCRO dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Account.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Delete Account.
  4. Confirm your decision in the prompt.

Alternatively, you can request account deletion by emailing our Data Protection Officer at privacy@syncro.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

Account deletion is an irreversible action. When you initiate deletion, the following data is permanently purged from our databases:

  • Personal Information: Your name, email, and billing details.
  • Meta Integrations: All stored Meta OAuth access tokens. Your Instagram/Facebook accounts will be immediately unlinked, and we will no longer have access to them.
  • Automations: All configured keywords, automation flows, sequences, and settings.
  • Analytics & Logs: All historical action logs, DM retries, and webhook event histories.
  • Collected Leads: Any email addresses or leads captured on your behalf.

Disconnecting Meta Without Deleting Your Account

If you wish to revoke SYNCRO's access to your Instagram or Facebook account without deleting your entire SYNCRO account, you can do so at any time:

  • Inside SYNCRO: Go to Integrations and click Disconnect next to your connected Meta account. This instantly deletes the access token from our system.
  • Inside Facebook/Instagram: Go to your Facebook Settings > Business Integrations, find SYNCRO, and click Remove. This instantly invalidates our access token.

End-User Data Deletion (For Creators)

If one of your followers or customers requests that their data (e.g., their username or email captured via a DM automation) be removed from your SYNCRO records, you can delete their data from the Leads tab in your dashboard, or contact us at privacy@syncro.com with their request.
